When a student graduates from the college, the system generally records the year and month of graduation so that one can later retrieve lists of graduates. These lists can also be used for historical and audit purposes. But Vettit's team recognised that college graduates might like to use Vettit Software Products in their future work. So we tried to facilitate the process of inviting college graduates to our system.

To achieve this goal WebEd provides special tools for inviting graduates to subscribe and use WebClinic system in their future work. This, of course, works together with the WebClinic Referral Program by simply providing a more convenient way of inserting entries to the WebClinic's mailing list. Then the status of the entries can also be easily monitored from the same place. Below you can see how all this looks.

You must select year or year/month of graduation and then you can see a list of matching graduates. From the screen above you can also see whether students are on the mailing list and what is their invitation status. Here all of our students are still "not invited". If you press the "Mailing List Settings" you'll be taken to the screen below.

In this screen you can actually set the email to which e-mails will be sent and eventually turn the entry on and off. This screen is generally used once to initially set the entry, so there is the option to copy the email from the student's user profile.

Once the students are on the mailing list there is a simple to use e-mail invitation tool that we don't show here. Using this tool you can easily preview and send customised emails based on the letter templates we provide. Of course, mail bombing, spamming, pranking and similar behaviour are strongly discouraged according to Vettit WebWare Referral Program Agreement (link opens in a new browser window).
